another thing i had to take into account was the privacy issues of having everyone's personal data.  the way i fixed this was spliting the database. this means that you can put the backend which stores all of the data in a network folder that you can set the access rights to and have the frount end on the computers using the database.

something that i hhad to consider when making my newsletter ect. was copyright issues. one way i got images ect was using a creative commons search engine with "able to be used or modified for commercial use" selected. i got the sponsors logos as they have no copyright on them
